Setha Chan

Program Manager, Cambodia

Setha joined The Asia Foundation in Cambodia as a program manager in September 2024. She supports the CAPRED-INSIGHT-Inclusive Evidence and Dialogue for Sustainable Economic Policy Transformation Project. Her role focuses on overall project implementation including planning and delivery of outputs, ensuring that activities align with the outcomes, monitoring and evaluation, budget management, and partner coordination.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Setha was a short-term consultant for The World Bank, coordinating the implementation of Phase II of its Social Accountability Framework across Cambodia. She was also managed and worked with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through Tetra Tech International Development, to support the implementation of gender-responsive policies and programs. Adding to her experience as a technical specialist at World Vision International Cambodia, she has accumulated 15 years of experience with focus areas in social accountability, and youth empowerment.

Setha Chan holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Australian National University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Pannasastra University of Cambodia.
