Yasmin Sattar is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. Her focus area of study is on the politics in the Muslim world, the conflict situations in the Deep South of Thailand, and on the status of Muslim Thai and Malay women in the Deep South of Thailand, especially in the political spheres. She attended the YSEALI Professional Fellowship in the Spring of 2019 on the topic of governance and society. In the last 3 years, she organized several projects to enhance the capacities of youth and women, especially in politics.
