A Survey of Community Policing Practices in Timor-Leste – Survey Brief (English)


This survey aims to capture the perceptions of citizens and the police towards security and their roles in working together to maintain safe and secure communities. The survey is designed track progress since the 2008 research and to gauge overall perceptions of the security sector performance and the security environment. We hope this information may prove useful to policy makers and to serve as a baseline to evaluate the successes and remaining challenges of community-oriented police programs in Timor-Leste.
