Strengthening the U.S.-ROK Alliance

Scott Snyder, Director of the Center for U.S.-Korea Policy, examines possibilities to develop a more comprehensive U.S.-ROK relationship, identifying potential challenges as well as functional areas of cooperation based on a mutually beneficial rationale for a 21st Century Alliance. An earlier draft of this paper was presented at the Center for U.S.-Korea Policy’s inaugural seminar in Seoul on February 17, 2009, “Prospects for Deepening the U.S.-ROK Alliance.”
