Stacey Choe is director at the Asia Philanthropy Circle (APC), a non-profit initiative that convenes Asian philanthropists to learn, collaborate, and catalyze new social interventions. She is passionate about leveraging networks and expertise to maximize change and impact in marginalized communities. At APC Stacey has launched various regional and in-country projects, including collective impact funds targeting early childhood nutrition and community building. She co-wrote research publications on the philanthropy ecosystem, and developed programs targeting pressing issues like rising radicalism, ageing in society, and education gaps. Stacey has a strong background in the philanthropic sector, having served as the membership services director at the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network for four years prior to her role as director of Policy Engagement. Stacey has a master’s degree in Social Anthropology of Development from SOAS, University of London, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English Literature from the National University of Singapore.
