Rights, Justice and Inclusion in Southeast Asia
To mark its 60th anniversary this year, the Foundation’s Washington, DC office hosted all 18 of our country representatives from across Asia as well as experts from the United States to participate in in-depth panel discussions on: “Fostering Civic Participation and Responsive Governments in South Asia”; “Rights, Justice and Inclusion in Southeast Asia”; “Women’s Changing Roles in Asia”; and, “Asian Approaches to Development Cooperation.”
The second panel, “Rights, Justice and Inclusion in Southeast Asia” featured Silas Everett (Cambodia), Sandra Hamid (Indonesia), Kim McQuay (Thailand), and Steven Rood (the Philippines).
