The Asia Foundation’s Carol Yost Speaks at W20 Summit
The Asia Foundation’s Carol Yost spoke at the first-ever Women20 summit in Ankara, Turkey on September 6. W20 is an initiative of the G20 to promote women’s economic participation and gender-inclusive growth. The Foundation’s senior director of Women’s Empowerment, Yost spoke on the importance of women-owned SMEs, which she calls “vital drivers of economic growth and employment,” and urged that “gender analysis is essential to good trade policy.” Read more.
