The Wall Street Journal Features Data from 2018 Survey of the Afghan People

The Wall Street Journal features an op-ed written by Afghan politician and women’s rights activist Fawzia Koofi. The article analyzes the government’s peace settlement with the Taliban and cites key findings from the 2018 Survey of the Afghan People

The Taliban knows, after all, that it would have no place in Afghanistan if it competed in an open election. According to the December 2018 Asia Foundation survey, 82% of Afghans have “no sympathy” for the Taliban.
