The two-hour event will bring together government actors across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao to be informed of the contents of the report, gather feedback, and get directions from the reactors and the participants that will inform the design of the planned inter-ministry workshop. Led by the team of Ms. Ica Fernandez, Dr. Tirmizy Abdullah, Dr. Maripaz Abas, and Mr. Hadzer Birowa, the report summarizes findings from a rapid assessment of the status of orphans who have lost at least one parent from the wars in Mindanao in the last decade (2009-2019).

The Children of War research project is under the Cohesion, Advocacy, Resilience, Expansive Engagement (CARE) for Peace Project of The Asia Foundation with support from the Australian Embassy in The Philippines.
