Young Asian Diplomats 2019

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”154″ display=”slideshow” caption_height=”64″ aspect_ratio=”1.777″ slideshow_speed=”6″]In June, 2019 the inaugural cohort of the Young Asian Diplomats Program: Strengthening Emerging Asian Leadership in Global Relations brought together 14 young diplomats for a three-week program in three parts: (1) coursework on Foreign Policy and Diplomacy in a global era, offered in partnership with the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.; (2) a leadership development workshop, offered in partnership with the Presidential Precinct in Charlottesville, Virginia; and (3) an observation study tour in Lincoln, Grand Island and North Platte, Nebraska and the San Francisco Bay Area. With support from the Henry Luce Foundation, the program promotes leadership development for the next generation of Asian diplomats from East and Southeast Asia
