YSEALI STEM Education Video Competition: Call for Applications

The Asia Foundation in Cambodia is now accepting video applications for the YSEALI STEM Education Video Competition. Applications must be submitted through the online application form by the deadline of September 16, 2018.

Launched in 2013, the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) is the U.S. Department of State’s signature program to strengthen leadership development and networking in Southeast Asia. Through a variety of programs and engagements, YSEALI seeks to build the leadership capabilities of youth in the region, strengthen ties between the United States and Southeast Asia, and nurture an ASEAN community of leaders who work across borders to solve common issues.

The Asia Foundation in Cambodia previously hosted the YSEALI STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Education Regional Workshop 2018 in Phnom Penh from February 28th to March 2nd, 2018. As part of this ongoing program, the Foundation is now inviting potential candidates across YSEALI countries to submit a video entry to the YSEALI STEM Education Video Competition.

Three videos will be selected as the winners of the competition and will receive cash prizes: the first prize winner will receive $500 (five hundred USD); the second prize winner will receive $400 (four hundred USD); the third prize winner will receive $300 (three hundred USD) and the most popular video on Facebook prize winner will receive $300 (three hundred USD).
