Simaa Karim is an accounts and finance officer for The Asia Foundation in Malaysia. She has twelve years of experience in accounts and finance management in the private and non-profit sectors. Her expertise includes financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, compliance, and preparing financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Currently, she is supporting the increasing growth of finance and grants needs for the Foundation in Malaysia, particularly with the Future Skills Alliance and Go Digital ASEAN. Prior to joining The Asia Foundation, she served as a management accountant at NES Fircroft, the world’s leading engineering staffing provider spanning the oil and gas, power and renewables, infrastructure, life sciences, mining, automotive, and chemicals sectors.
Education: She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya.
