Shirijung Hang Rai is an educator, innovator, campaigner, and international relations enthusiast currently working as the manager of Innovation and Strategy at SkillLab, which works to reduce the industry-academia gap in Nepal by creating and improving employment and self-employment opportunities for youth. In this role, Rai has helped to establish over 20 incubation centers within academic institutions to promote youth entrepreneurial skill development. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Samaanta Foundation, a comprehensive national-level fellowship for deserving students to promote education, equality, and empowerment.

For two years, Rai lived and worked in a rural village as a Teach for Nepal fellow, through which he promoted quality education to underserved children in public schools. He has been awarded a Public Service Scholarship to pursue his master’s degree in Business Administration.
