Lotus Circle Advisor

Tina Kwok is a holistic wellness advocate and philanthropist, dedicating her life to the well-being of others through her company, Samskara Health. With nutrition, functional medicine, and yoga expertise, Tina empowers individuals to achieve optimal physical and mental health. She is particularly passionate about supporting senior citizens, offering weekly multi-discipline chair yoga classes to enhance their quality of life.

Before embarking on her wellness journey, Tina was the entrepreneurial force behind CAFE KATi, a celebrated East-West cuisine restaurant in San Francisco known for cross-cultural stylings and dramatic presentations. Before that, Tina was chief financial officer at J. Walter Thompson’s Los Angeles office, with leadership positions at notable companies such as Foote Cone and Belding, Crowley Maritime Corporation, and Prudential Insurance.

Tina actively gives back through her support and volunteer work with the Clarion Performing Arts Center and supports the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and The Asia Foundation.

Tina received a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Along with being a certified public accountant, Tina is also a certified yoga instructor from Yoga Teacher Alliance, a certified Chopra Meditation Teacher from the Chopra Institute, a certified functional medicine health coach at Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, and has completed courses from The Functional Nutrition Alliance.

She was born and raised in Hong Kong, where she maintains close ties with friends, family, and associates. Her global travels have fostered a profound appreciation for diverse cultures and a passion for photography, cooking, and music—having sung with the SF Choral Society and playing the piano and cello. Tina lives in San Francisco with her husband, and together, they have a combined family with three adult children and one granddaughter living in Manhattan, Hudson Valley, NY, and Hong Kong. Tina and her husband maintain a vinyasa yoga practice, meditate daily, eat simply (but not always), and periodically fast.
