His dedication to the sector is evident through his commitment to fostering positive change in critical areas, including international development, good governance, democracy, women’s empowerment, climate change and environment, and inclusive economic growth. As the Country Representative for The Asia Foundation in Bangladesh, Faisal is pivotal in steering the organization’s initiatives. At the helm of strategic planning, management, and implementation, he has been instrumental in shaping the Foundation’s programs and operations.

Faisal is a mission-driven individual with a passion for creating meaningful impact. His skill set includes analytical thinking and a knack for donor relations. With a proven track record of building and leading diverse, high-performing teams, he excels in scaling up social impact and securing funding from diverse sources. Driven by a profound commitment to positive global transformation, Faisal leverages his expertise and expansive network to advance the goals of The Asia Foundation and its esteemed partners.

Education: His academic journey includes a master’s degree in Business Administration from the prestigious MIT Sloan School of Management as a Sloan Fellow. He also holds a master’s degree in environmental economics from the University of New South Wales. Further enriching his professional repertoire, Faisal has undergone leadership courses at renowned institutions like the Aspen Institute and the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
