Empowering Women to Transform Their Lives
In Asia, women and girls have been gaining power and voice in the political spheres as well as in the workplace. However, enormous challenges to achieving gender equality remain. In this film, The Asia Foundation’s Jane Sloane explains these challenges, and describes how The Asia Foundation and the Lotus Circle, a vibrant community of philanthropists, are working together to advance women’s empowerment and gender equality in the region.
