Afghanistan in 2013:
A Survey of the Afghan People
As the 2014 presidential election and security transition approaches, what do Afghan citizens think of critical issues in the country? On December 5 in Kabul, and Canberra, and on December 11 in Washington, DC, The Asia Foundation released findings from Afghanistan in 2013: A Survey of the Afghan People, the longest-running public opinion poll in the country. Over 9,000 Afghan citizens across 34 provinces reveal opinions on security, political participation, the economy, women's rights, and development. This marks the ninth in the Foundation's series of surveys in Afghanistan.
