Young Lotus Circle Soiree

The Young Lotus Circle is a dynamic group of young professionals dedicated to advancing The Asia Foundation’s programs in women’s empowerment and gender equality. After a 4-year hiatus, we’re thrilled to invite you back to the Young Lotus Circle Soiree—an inspiring night of art, conversation, and collective action in support of women and girls across developing Asia and the Pacific. This year’s Soiree will take place at Sundaram Tagore Gallery, which will feature an exclusive exhibition by renowned artist Miya Ando. Senior Director of Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality Jane Sloane will share insights on how we can advance the voice of women and girls and increase opportunities for economic empowerment.
We hope you will join us for a memorable evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and meaningful conversation, as we come together to support The Asia Foundation’s efforts to promote women’s empowerment. This year’s soiree is co-hosted by Lotus Circle Advisors Lin Jamison, Libby Scheideler, and Stephanie Sun.

Suggested Donations
$100: Can provide essential on-site childcare at the Women’s Business Center in Mongolia, enabling women entrepreneurs to build their skills and networks.
$250: Can transform the life of a woman in Sri Lanka by helping her expand her home enterprise, enabling her to stabilize her family’s finances and ensure her children remain in school, even as she navigates mental health challenges in her family.
$500: Can support a young woman in Laos’s tuition to attend university to pursue a career in STEM and participate in mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities, changing the trajectory of her entire life.
$1,000: Can provide critical aid to a woman in Indonesia experiencing domestic violence. Your generous donation will offer her emergency shelter and vital legal assistance. With this donation, you can become a member of the Lotus Circle and receive event invitations to briefings, events, and discussions year-round.
