San Francisco
The Asia Foundation has a unique role and history in San Francisco, a city long recognized as the gateway to a dynamic Asia-Pacific region and a leading global innovation center. Our San Francisco headquarters hosts a diverse range of global leaders, influencers, and innovators to help inform and address the many critical issues affecting Asia and the Pacific.
Washington, D.C.
The Foundation’s office in Washington organizes substantive meetings with key audiences on policy issues facing the Asia-Pacific. Roundtables, forums, lectures, and dialogues provide policymakers, nongovernmental leaders, journalists, and scholars with opportunities to hear contemporary views from Asia and the Pacific.
New York City
The Asia Foundation hosts special events in New York, including salons, galas, publisher appreciations, Board of Trustee events, and issue briefings, where we sometimes partner with organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations or Asia Society. Each spring, we honor recipients of our Lotus Leadership Awards at a special gala
