Antoinette Mayer

Antoinette Mayer leads Blue Shield of California’s corporate social responsibility and sustainability efforts. Under her leadership, the company launched BlueSky, a multimillion-dollar youth mental health initiative that supports programs promoting emotional well-being for young people across California. 

Mayer joined Blue Shield in 2013 and has helped the company earn recognition as one of the most community-minded companies by Civic 50. She is a four-time recipient of Blue Shield’s Mission & Values in Action Award for her contributions to innovation and positive change. 

Before transitioning to corporate social responsibility, Mayer had a successful career in executive compensation on Wall Street. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Mayer serves on the Board of Directors of Children Now and volunteers with various organizations. She lives in Lafayette, California with her husband and two children.
