Cheng-Ling Chen

Cheng-Ling Chen is an investor, creative writer, and advisor to women-led startups and nonprofits that bring capital and opportunity to underserved, under-noticed communities. 

Cheng-Ling’s domestic and international law practice has included work in California, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taiwan. She has also served as a pro bono advocate for immigrant women and children under the Violence Against Women Act. 

She holds a BA from Brown University, a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.F.A. from the University of San Francisco. Passionate about multilingual education, she has served on the board of the Presidio Knolls School, a Mandarin immersion K-8 school, and on the board of APA Family Support Services, a nonprofit that provides support services to Asian American and Pacific Island families.
