Lotus Circle Advisor

Hee-Jung Moon joined the Foundation as a Lotus Circle Advisor in 2018. Ms. Moon practiced corporate law for over ten years prior to retiring to focus on her family. During her professional career, she served as an Assistant General Counsel at J.P. Morgan and was also an associate at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy and Simpson Thacher and Bartlett. Ms. Moon holds a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard College, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. She currently serves on the board of Hope for New York, a faith-based organization which supports social service organizations in New York City with volunteers as well as financial grants. Ms. Moon also served on the board of the Diller Quaile School of Music. She is also active with other charitable organizations including International Justice Mission, Korean American Community Foundation and Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools (FOCUS). She is an avid duplicate bridge player. She was also a former Korean Junior Figure Skating Champion.
