Rukshanie Vidyaratne
Senior Program Manager, Inclusive Economic Development, Sri Lanka
Rukshanie Vidyaratne is a senior program manager for inclusive economic development in TAF’s Sri Lanka office. She also serves as the Asia policy lead for the Asia Pacific Cybersecurity Fund, which is implemented across 12 countries, advancing TAF’s regional policy agenda at the intersection of cybersecurity and micro, small, and medium enterprises in Asia and the Pacific.
Rukshanie joined The Asia Foundation in 2023 to lead the Women Empowerment and Economic Development project, working on strengthening women entrepreneurs in socially and economically disadvantaged communities.
Her background encompasses technical coordination on technology and innovation-focused projects, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach—skills she continuously channels into TAF’s mission to foster inclusive growth and economic justice in Sri Lanka.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Moratuwa
