Over a three-month period in 2020, The Asia Foundation’s office in Myanmar and Saraswati, an Indonesian company that promotes development innovation, collaborated to help teams working on Data for Development (D4D) initiatives explore how to scale their impact. We set out to develop a set of guiding questions, construct online interactive workshop-ready tools around these, and apply the tools through discussion and workshops with The Asia Foundation’s partners in Myanmar. This guide outlines the process undertaken, the tools developed, and key lessons learned. An online template of the workshop is available for other teams to adapt to their needs.
