The regional research includes country-specific reports that give granular insights on the disproportionate impact on women, which contribute to a South Asia region-wide report that presents common impacts on women across South Asia and policy recommendations to enhance government responses to strengthen support for women working in the informal economy and in the services sector. The research aims to provide policy makers and development partners in South Asian countries a better understanding about possible social protection and access to skills and finance targeting vulnerable women workers.
