Vibrant Information Barometer

Vibrant Information Barometer (VIBE) is a study report that identifies strengths and challenges and provides recommendations for enhancing Nepal’s information ecosystem. It is targeted to help the media industry, academicians, researchers, and other concerned stakeholders reflect on the landscape and make positive interventions. The study team interviewed a diverse and inclusive panel of experts to evaluate the vibrancy of Nepal’s media ecosystem based on 20 indicators with 167 sub-indicators. The included 30 experts encompassing editors, media managers, civil society members, reporters, educators, and activists.
