Joyful Reading: “Let’s Read In the Park” Event Inspires Children in Dhaka

A vibrant celebration of reading and creativity took place at “Let’s Read In the Park”, bringing joy and inspiration to children across Dhaka. Supported by The Asia Foundation and organized by Let’s Read Bangladesh and Light of Hope Ltd, the event is a part of the Reading Champions Alliance project along with Ghashful to help spread a love of reading among young learners in Bangladesh.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”188″ display=”slideshow” ngg_triggers_display=”always”]Acting Country Representative Jerome Sayre and Let’s Read Regional Program Manager Jaco Roesch shared our organizational achievements in Bangladesh and across Asia and the Pacific with the parents and teachers present.

Held in one of Dhaka’s picturesque parks, Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park at Gulshan 2, the event featured various engaging activities designed to captivate and educate children.

Highlights included puppet shows, interactive reading sessions, and hands-on arts and crafts. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as children immersed themselves in stories, created colorful artwork, and participated in fun activities.
