Legendary Photographs to be Auctioned at Sotheby’s to Benefit The Asia Foundation

During times of social distancing and uncertainty, art can be curative and connecting. On April 3, a private collection of legendary 20th century photographs by such luminaries as Ansel Adams, Margrethe Mather, Alfred Stieglitz, Berenice Abbott, and Edward Weston will be auctioned at Sotheby’s New York to benefit The Asia Foundation. Works in the collection include Weston’s Cabbage Leaf, Stieglitz’s The Hand of Man, and Adams’ Mount Resplendent. The Asia Foundation is grateful for the generous resources the sale will generate for its work across Asia. Please see this film for more.YouTube video
