APAC Cybersecurity Fund, Supported by Google.org, to Bolster Cyber Capabilities of Up to 2,500 MSMEs in Japan
The APAC Cybersecurity Fund aims to build an inclusive and safe digital ecosystem for all by connecting small businesses and vulnerable groups to local training opportunities and resources to improve cybersecurity resilience. The Asia Foundation works to protect local communities and students from online threats by providing upskilling tools and cyber clinics. The initiative will be implemented in 13 locations, including Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. In Japan, the program seeks to provide cyber security training to up to 2,500 MSMEs, covering 5000 individuals, in collaboration with the Japan Cybercrime Control Center (JC3). Learn more about JC3.
