Go Digital ASEAN Workshop Featured in Malaysia’s Daily Express
The largest daily newspaper in Sabah, Malaysia, The Daily Express, highlighted the Foundation’s Go Digital ASEAN initiative workshop, “Canva Basics of Designing and Video Making.” In collaboration with several organizations, the digital skills workshop provided small business owners and workers with crucial digital skills.
The workshop on “Canva Basics of Designing and Video Making” aimed to equip small business owners and workers with foundational digital skills. It was part of the Go Digital ASEAN initiative, designed to enable participants to maximize opportunities in the digital economy.
The full-day workshop in Kota Kinabalu on May 25 was jointly organized by the Sabah Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association (Swepa), Sabah Computer Society (SCS), Persatuan Pusat Kemahiran SLDN Sabah, and Sabah Women Entrepreneurs of Excellence Association (Sawena), in collaboration with the Asia Foundation and local partner startupMalaysia.org.
Go Digital ASEAN is an initiative under the Future Skills Alliance, a broad coalition of partners from both the public and private sectors working together to deliver future skills at scale to the region’s most marginalized.
