The Asia Foundation Launches Accelerate My Business in Vietnam
Phunu Vietnam, the media agency of Vietnam’s Women Union, and Kenh VTC16 Channel, a major public broadcaster, highlighted the launch of the Accelerate My Business (AMB) program. AMB aims to build the capacity and development of women entrepreneurs in Vietnam. With funding from Visa, The Asia Foundation is supporting a local partner, the Center for Women and Development, to provide personalized training and guidance to 25,000 women entrepreneurs to develop their businesses and participate in the digital economy.
The 3 partners involved in the project reaffirmed their strong commitment to providing digital literacy and business training to microfinance clients. By partnering with these organizations to provide digital education and financial management to women-owned businesses and disadvantaged groups, facilitating their access to financial inclusion, the “My Business Growth” project hopes to contribute to the implementation of the Entrepreneurship Program, Digital transformation program as well as the National Financial Inclusion Strategy in Vietnam.
